Delete your account

Macrilon accounts are created by us or by your organization's administrator. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

In the app

  1. Open the Macrilon Field App and sign in.
  2. Tap Delete account (next to Sign out) and confirm.
  3. The app tells you whether your request was recorded. If it could not be recorded, it says so; try again or use email below.

By email

Email contact@macrilon.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my Macrilon account”. If you don't have access to that address, tell us your username and your organization. You can also ask your organization's Macrilon administrator to request it for you.

What happens next

  1. We process every request by hand. We may email you to confirm that the account is yours.
  2. We complete the deletion within 30 days of your request.
  3. We email you when it is done.

What is deleted

Your sign-in and your account profile, including your account email address, so you can no longer sign in.

What is kept

Photos, locations and pole details you uploaded are your organization's project records. They stay with the project for the life of the project. We remove your name and account email from them, but the photos, locations and times themselves are kept and may still show where and when work was done. Security and service records are kept only as long as needed to keep the service secure and meet legal obligations, and are then deleted. Our confirmation email tells you what was kept.

On your iPhone

Deleting the app removes its local capture queue, including captures that have not uploaded yet. It does not delete uploaded records or your account; use the steps above for that.
