From the pole to the plan

- Field. Phone photos of pole P-1004 — no stick, laser or rangefinder. Heights are read from the photos: top 29'-0", primary 27'-7", neutral 23'-11", comm 17'-3".
- Suggested route. Field captures link to the base map. A suggested route is drawn for engineering review: Route A, 2,200 ft, 13 poles (sample). Routes B (2,365 ft) and C (2,085 ft) are shown as alternatives.
- CAD drafts. Sheets T-1 (title and key map), SP-1 and SP-2 (OSP plans with pole schedule) and SP-1 Rev 1 (engineer redlines), plotted 11x17 at 1" = 150' on a 59-lot sample plat.
- Engineer review. The engineer (M.Q., sample) marks four redlines and draws a solid line where they changed the route. The suggestion stays underneath.
